Hi, I'm Brady — founder and creator of Field Optic.
I built Field Optic to solve a problem I lived every day as a service technician in the agricultural irrigation industry: the lack of a true all-in-one tool that actually makes work easier instead of harder.
With more than 10 years of hands-on experience in ag irrigation and nearly a decade designing and building complex backend database systems, I set out to create the platform I always wished existed.

Our location mapping is deliberately flexible: add as much or as little detail as you want. Technicians still get the critical information they need before they even arrive on site. Each location also carries its full service history, so your team can see past repairs, recurring issues, and what actually fixed the problem last time.
Inventory is 100% user-defined and can be attached directly to locations. That means when a technician pulls up a job, they know exactly which contactor, control panel, or pump part they're walking into — no more guessing or wasted trips back to the truck.
